So They Killed Osama

I mourn the loss of thousands of precious lives, but I will not rejoice in the death of one, not even an enemy. Returning hate for hate multiplies hate, adding deeper darkness to a night already devoid of stars. Darkness cannot drive out darkness: only light can do that. Hate cannot drive out hate: only love can do that.” ~Martin Luther King Jr.

Makes no difference to me whether Osama is dead or alive. The number of civilians and American soldiers who have died (and will continue to die) in Iraq and Afghanistan has far outnumbered the number of people killed on 9/11. Unfortunately, this is not something discussed on CNN, Fox or BBC.

Now that Osama is gone, isn’t it high time for Obama to pull his troops from Afghanistan — the country that allegedly hosted and protected Osama?
